Cam quality
The Linksys Wireless PTZ Internet Camera uses MPEG-4 and MJPEG video compression. The 640x480 video quality is good. Images appear smooth with minimum lag. You can also check the video settings where you will find that 25 of the video frame rate is perfect, with the sound on, for over-the-net viewing.
The only drawback of the image quality is the color off. Although you get sharp images and clear, the colors are inaccurate. But if you're strictly using the camera for monitoring, color fidelity should not overemphasize, right?
The cam also comes with an integrated microphone that provides clear audio recording. It also has a plug for an external microphone so that you can choose to join one when you want the best audio quality.

The Linksys Wireless PTZ Internet Camera comes with a good pan, tilt and zoom. What's even better is that you can create position and you can cycle at intervals or choose preset options such as "image of Pan Tilt," which allows you to click on any point in the video and focus camera position.
