The MegaDome series of IP security cameras from Arecont vision provide the same great quality high definition video (from 1.3 MegaPixel to 5.0 MegaPixel) but have a built-in 4-10mm varifocal lens and a weatherproof 4" armor dome outdoor enclosure. This makes these cameras as easy to install as standard analog video cameras, with low impact to the appearance of the home or business while still providing video quality up to 22 times the resolution of analog video.
IP66 rated outdoor armor dome weatherproof enclosures allow you to mount these MegaDome IP security cameras directly outside, and simply run a single CAT-5 network cable to each camera from your PoE (Power over Ethernet) switch. The weatherproof camera enclosures provide protection from the elements in a small sized 4" polycarbonate dome. These cameras permit the installation of MegaPixel IP cameras virtually anywhere, providing the ability to capture license plates, facial images or more.
