Book one to one newspaper
I can not stress how beneficial to keep a diary of your daily activities, thoughts, feelings and the output would be in improving your life and situation. Even strictly for self-knowledge and identification of trends, task logging methods will create awareness and open our eyes to the bottlenecks in your life you can be completely ignored. A newspaper is a fact, as you see it in your life account of one day to another. It may contain words, pictures, poems, whatever you deem necessary to accurately describe to you the day and life in a way that you prefer.
Anything worth is worth recording. Think of it as if you look through an old photo album. The second you see a picture, it reminds you that even so before looking at the album that you do not even remember that memory. Keep a journal allows you to look back to your development and progress where you thought none existed. It allows you to draw on lessons learned during the periods that were less easy and allows you to draw into powerful tools that you used to create special and implementation time in your life. Most importantly, it allows you to see that you were able to cope with anything and everything that comes your way. It allows you to see that you're a better person today because of the multitude of different experiences you have experienced in your life.
How do you know what works and what is not if you do not keep a record? Do you think we would have a major scientific discoveries, if scientists do not keep a record of their results? We'd still be leaching cure all diseases. Your life is as important as any science project ... Record your results ... disambiguate.
Book Two - A Dream book
A dream book is just that, all your dreams. Just like your newspaper, it may contain words, pictures, poems, articles, what you want to meet your desires. Unlike your newspaper, it is a complete fabrication of your reality. Your dream book should have a section in it for all aspects of your life, your relationships, your health and well-being, your finances, your spiritual connection, your philanthropy, and so on. Take a photo of your dream home and photo shop you in it mowing the lawn. Give you a check for ten million dollars and paste it into your book. Write a million dollar check for your favorite charity (do not accidentally mail it). List of attributes that your partner ideal would, but acting as if he / she is already with you. It is a scrap book for your dreams, be creative, be daring and foremost be realistic.
Book Three - A newspaper Fantasy
Write "dear diary" entries in the upcoming dates that are in harmony with your dream life. Example. (I got up at 8 am with a refreshing breeze blowing through the Caribbean my bedroom. I went out on my porch and watched the ocean, my husband / wife / lover / friend was already at the pool enjoying a breakfast of tropical fruits. I ready to be joined by her. etc.) You get what I mean. Think big. Whenever you feel the urge to stop because the fantasy has become you feel out of reach or too bizarre, and stifle the urge to continue. This is not a newspaper actual facts, what is your imaginary diary. Watch it as if you write a novel about someone living your fantasy life. The only difference is that the main character is you.

The Diary of a Nobody $5.49 THE DIARY OF A NOBODY began as a serial in Punch and the book which followed in 1892 has never been out of print. The Grossmith brothers not only created an immortal comic character but produced a clever satire of their society. Mr Pooter is an office clerk and upright family man in a dull 1880s suburb. His diary is a wonderful portrait of the class system and the inherent snobbishness of the suburban middle classes. It sends up contemporary crazes for Aestheticism, spiritualism and bicycling, as well as the fashion for publishing diaries by anybody and everybody. |

The Diary of a Nobody $8.95 `Why should I not publish my diary? I have often seen reminiscences of people I have never even heard of, and I fail to see - because I do not happen to be a `Somebody' - why my diary should not be interesting.'The Diary of a Nobody (1892) created a cultural icon, an English archetype. Anxious, accident-prone, occasionally waspish, Charles Pooter has come to be seen as the epitome of English suburban life. His diary chronicles encounters with difficult tradesmen, the delights of home improvements, small parties, minor embarrassments, and problems with his troublesome son. The suburban world he inhabits is hilariously and painfully familiar in its small-mindedness and its essential decency. Both celebration and critique, The Diary of a Nobody has often been imitated, but never bettered. This edition features Weedon Grossmith's hilarious illustrations and is complemented by an enjoyable introduction discussing the book's social background and suburban fiction as a genre. |

Zlata's Diary $12.99 When Zlata's Diary was first published at the height of the Bosnian conflict, it became an international bestseller and was compared to The Diary of Anne Frank , both for the freshness of its voice and the grimness of the world it describes. It begins as the day-today record of the life of a typical eleven-year-old girl, preoccupied by piano lessons and birthday parties. But as war engulfs Sarajevo, Zlata Filipovic becomes a witness to food shortages and the deaths of friends and learns to wait out bombardments in a neighbor's cellar. Yet throughout she remains courageous and observant. The result is a book that has the power to move and instruct readers a world away. |

Chechnya Diary $6.99 Chechnya Diary is a story about "the story" of the war in Chechnya, the "rogue republic" that attempted to secede from the Russian Federation at the time of the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991. Specifically, it is the story of the Samashki Massacre, a symbol of the Russian brutality that was employed to crush Chechen resistance. Thomas Goltz is a member of the exclusive journalistic cadre of compulsive, danger-addicted voyeurs who court death to get the story. But in addition to providing a tour through the convoluted Soviet and then post-Soviet nationalities policy that led to the bloodbath in Chechnya, Chechnya Diary is part of a larger exploration of the role (and impact) of the media in conflict areas. And at its heart, Chechnya Diary is the story of Hussein, the leader of the local resistance in the small town that bears the brunt of the massacre as it is drawn into war. This is a deeply personal book, a first person narrative that reads like an adventure but addresses larger theoretical issues ranging from the history of ethnic/nationalities in the USSR and the Russian Federation to journalistic responsibility in crisis zones. Chechnya Diary is a crossover work that offers both the historical context and a ground-level view of a complex and brutal war. |

Diary (Hardcover) $21.07 Susan Cheever observed in a New York Times Book Review appraisal of his memoir Down from Troy that Richard Selzer "cares more about truth than consequences . . . [and] immerses us in the facts we all know but hate to admit." Selzer`s Diary picks up roughly where the memoir leaves off, as his writing life flourishes and surgical career ends. Stripped of the doctor-writer`s "privilege of [walking] about all day in the middle of a short story," Selzer shifts his focus to his interior life. In Diary, the author`s successes and regrets, as well as the humor and sadness that surround him, are revealed with the same empathy and vividness that made him one of the great doctor-writers of modern literature. Diary brings together stories and observations dashed off on park benches and in library carrels over the past decade. Following the success of such books as Confessions of a Knife and The Doctor Stories, Selzer`s diary entries recount life lived in the shadow of both achievement and disappointment. He introduces a varied cast of characters, from the distinguished fellowship of the "Boys Friendly" to his "fellow loonies," and evokes the streets, buildings, and parks of Yale and New Haven with vibrancy and affection. And throughout, Selzer faces the looming specter of old age. The distinctive voice that paved the way for other notable doctor-writers like Jerome Groopman and Abraham Verghese is revealed here to be no less compelling with the spotlight turned on himself and the drama of everyday living. |
