Night vision cameras are the security cameras that allow you to capture the video in the night. These cameras can see a view even in total darkness and can shoot the video with clarity. Many have infrared illumination, which helps in shooting clear pictures in the area with no lighting conditions.

Human eye can not see infrared light and hence people do not come to know about it. A camera without infrared illumination can only capture the video where some light is available. However, it is not necessary that the surveillance area should have lot of light as the camera can intensify the little light available. They can even see what is not seen by a naked human eye.
These cameras generally comes with adapter which has to be plugged in a socket. Audio and video cable of the camera should be attached to the monitoring device. Most of them work on battery and hence provide greater mobility. One can even keep a wireless camera in the pocket for shooting.
